MÜLLER&KUCH is an international physical theatre company based in Switzerland. It was founded in 2016 by Angie Müller and Anna Kuch.
MÜLLER&KUCH draws inspiration from the absurd and combines dance, theater and visual arts. The tension of their work comes from the deliberate incorporation of unpredictable elements. Water is an element that constantly accompanies them.
MÜLLER&KUCH has experience with creations in unusual places and is based on mutual trust and risk. Their expression is radical, humorous and sensual and characterized by text, choreography, moving images and extreme emotions.

On February 7, 1979, Pluto crossed over Neptune’s orbit and became the eighth planet from the sun for twenty years. A study in 1988 determined that Pluto’s path of orbit could never be accurately predicted. Labeled as “chaotic,” Pluto was later discredited from planet status in 2006.

Dance theatre performance
Production MÜLLER & KUCH
A sporting performance - welcome to the smoky substitutes' bench of the post-detox society. With pearls of sweat on the forehead, the new national anthem is diced out. Stop. Football is like chess, only without dice. So we have to do it differently. Living room talk about passes, goals, gender stereotypes and the sex appeal of speed. Out or in - that's the only thing that counts.

Das sagst du immer.
(engl. You always say that.)
Dance theatre piece
Production MÜLLER & KUCH
Das sagst du immer. is an ode to the river and a study of human abysses. Grinding heaviness is challenged in ever new attempts with irony, cheekiness and tenderness. Two people find each other again in limited space, they celebrate each other and live off each other. The game develops into extasy. How far are we willing to go to defend a dogma?
For this site-specific piece, the starting point was a small lifeboat and the Rhine. The river became a sincere, wonderful and exhausting partner. Working outdoors and on, in and under the water supported the honesty and rawness of the work and pushed us to our physical and mental limits.
